Iran's government goons are attacking women for refusing to wear hijab

09/06/2019

This topic really hits home to me because my mothers family came to the US from iran. A lot of the Iranian crowd here in the US are very progressive and don't make it compulsory to do anything. However the same can't be said about our home country. In this blog article i will talk about a few incidences that anyone who cares about this movement of women's liberation should know about.

In one of the recordings posted online just a few months ago, a lady films a showdown that she says started after a professional state vigilante tenaciously arranged her to wear her hijab appropriately and pressed her on it. In the video the man mocks her and, when she questions, he pivots and showers her in the face with what gives off an impression of being pepper powder splash.

In another  video, a man is indicated hollering, annoying and requesting a lady to put on her headscarf. The lady is heard shouting about his risk to shoot an immobilizer at her and the man reacts: "I didn't fire at you. I just indicated it to you."

In a third video posted on the web, a regular clothes man remaining alongside an ethical quality police van is seen pointing a firearm at unarmed people who have mediated to stop the savage capture of a lady who isn't wearing a headscarf. The individual who shot the video clarifies in a remark that they and different individuals from the open needed to protect the lady from the profound quality police, who had reallocated her vehicle keys and were endeavoring to push her into their van.

These recordings were posted online by conspicuous Iranian columnist and ladies' privileges lobbyist Masih Alinejad, situated in the USA, who has run a progression of prominent online battles against constrained hijab. Just as My Camera My Weapon, these include: My Stealthy Freedom, a Facebook page where ladies in Iran are urged to post photographs of themselves without headscarves, and White Wednesdays, a crusade which approaches ladies to challenge constrained hijab laws by wearing white headscarves each Wednesday.

Do note that all of these incidences happened while these perpetrators knew that they were being recorded. One can only imagine the lengths these people might go to once they are off camera.
